We are pleased to have this forum back up-and excited to announce the what’s to come.

The Amnesty is a UCL-affiliated press, which comments on global events and humanitarian infringements and exhibits student journalistic talent.

As a student publication, we understand the significance of thoughtful debate, constructive discourse, and the openness to reconsider one’s perspectives with empathy. Our team is characterized by strong opinions, intellectual curiosity, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

We at The Amnesty believe that censorship is unacceptable, we want the content we publish to be investigative, and challenge individual opinions. We encourage our writers to be critical, speak their minds and form their own opinions.

More than anything, The Amnesty is dedicated to supporting and nurturing student political, humanitarian and journalistic interest.

All the best,

Ella Perera-Burdon
